HARRY DOYLE - 2426 (Q20089)

Harry Doyle was born at Charters Tower as his age is 20, his birth year would be 1897. A single man who was a farm hand at Behana Siding? Gordonvale Line, Via Cairns. North Queensland

Harry enlisted at Cairns, Queensland on the 23 May 1917.  Then he was appointed to the 20/11th Light Horse on 15th December 1917, then went to Rifle Range Camp, A.I.F. Enoggera.

Harry embarked from Sydney on the Ulysses on 19th December 1917 for Suez then Moascar. Embark the HT “Morvada” for Australia on the 20 July 1919 at Kanara Egypt and arriving in Australia on the 30th of August 1919.

Harry’s parents were dead and he had no guardian, therefore for next of kin he placed his friend George Madden, from Behana Siding
