2435 Frank Morris

FRANK MORRIS - 2435 (Q21225)   

Frank Morris was born at Walkerston, Mackay Queensland when he enlisted he was 36 years old, making his birth year 1881.  Frank enlisted in the Army during World War one on the 25th August 1917 at Mackay and was appointed to the 20/11th Light Horse.

Frank was a single man who next of kin was Peter Morris (alias Smith) from Mackay Queensland. Before enlisting Frank previously he was a stockman.

Frank embarked from Sydney on the A 38 H.M.T. Ulysses on 19th December 1917 for Suez then Moascar. Embark the HT “Morvada” for Australia on the 20 July 1919 at Kanara Egypt and arriving in Australia on the 30th of August 1919. Frank was discharged on the 22nd November 1919.
